About The SuperSystem
The Super System has three repeaters on Santiago Peak, one in Anaheim,
Orange, Santa Ana, Palos Verdes, L.A., Mt. Wilson,
Fullerton, Pleasants Peak, and two in downtown Honolulu. Most of
these repeaters have autopatch.
We also have two remote base with HF capabilities on 10, 15, 20, 40, 80
meters, AM, sideband, and FM. You may
access these systems with a 440 MHZ handheld or mobile radio and talk all
over the world within your license privileges. We also have two
VHF-UHF remote bases with high power which allow you to access two
meters, and 440 MHZ.
The charge for a family membership is $15.00 per month, six months
in advance, for a total of $90.00,
a one
time initiation charge of $60.00
applies to all new
members. So basically, To process your application we need
$150.00 up front for the first six months and
$90.00
thereafter for
each
six
month
subscription
plus any long distance phone charges. This is a family
membership
, which
means,
anyone in your immediate family who is a
licensed
Ham
, and, resides in the same residence.
