NHRC Controller User's Group
![]()
A number of radio amateur operators in the Southern California area are using the NHRC-10 controllers at their repeater sites. The goal of this group is to share information about the controller and the various uses which it can be put to. We have found the NHRC-10 to be the only turn-key unit that is pretty much plug and play. The members of this group at this time are David Corsiglia - WA6TWF, Jim Gilliam - K6QE, Kirk Nemzer - WB6EGR, and John Luthy - N7JL. Among the four of us, we own 12 of NHRC-10s. Therefore, we have a pretty good working knowledge of the unit. We are inviting you to join our user group. Please e-mail your suggestions, pictures, drawings, etc and description of your experiences with the NHRC-10 to wa6twf@aol.com, and please call me at (714) 680-4499. I would love to hear from you. I will post your comments and pictures at wa6twf.com on the NHRC-10 user group page.

The following is a description of three pioneers of Hams who have built low-band remote interface units. These interface units go between the repeater and a world wide radio. This allows the repeater user to control the HF radio to go a specific frequency or to scan a band.
